Completion of CET (Certified Electronics Technician) certification with 6 months

Information Technology Field Technician

Job Description: Design, configure, install and maintain a broad

array of public and private wired and wireless networks. Ideal

candidate shall be able to work in the field within customer’s

locations as well as inside office as required. Familiar with

Motorola Canopy, point to point (PTP) and point to multi-point

(PTMP) along with MESH systems. Motorola Wireless Field

Engineer (MWFE) and Motorola Wireless Systems Engineer (MWSE)

certifications preferred. Familiar with Motorola R56 standards,

certification preferred. Able to work on a wide array of firewall and

security applications. Wireless mobile data (mobile notebooks / laptops)

applications for public safety customers. Effective interpersonal

skills and relationship building skills; Strong written and oral

communication skills; ability to present ideas in user-friendly language;

Understanding of the organizations’ goals and objectives;

Self motivated and direction; Keen attention to detail;

Analytical and problem solving abilities; Ability to effectively prioritize

and execute tasks in high pressure environment; Ability to work in a

team oriented, collaborative environment; Strong customer service

orientation Able to work on call rotation schedule. Clean driving record.

Information Technology Help Desk Technician

Requirements: College diploma or university degree in the field of

computer science and/ or 2 years equivilent work experience.

Certifications: A+, Net+ and Server+ is recommended; if not currently

held, completion of A+ certification is required within 6 months of hire

date. Knowledge and Experience: Excellent technical knowledge of

network and PC hardware, including: Hands on hardware troubleshooting

experience and extensive equipment support experience. Working

technical knowledge of current network protocols, operating systems and

standards. Ability to operate tools, components and peripheral accessories.

Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation

and OEM guides. Ability to conduct research into PC issues and products

as required.
